Our story
pHLORA was born from a lifetime of resilience and a career supporting women through domestic violence. Created from scratch, it exists to remind every woman that caring for herself isn’t indulgence, it’s strength, healing, and dignity.
For Every Woman Who’s Had to Be Strong
The Heart Behind the Mission
I was fourteen, sitting at the computer thinking, ”this is it”. This is professional. walked into the Coffee Club with a tiny briefcase and asked, “Are you hiring?” I needed money to help my mum, and that felt like the only place to start. Growing up, I learnt to speak with an adult’s voice long before I should’ve. By ten, I was already stepping up, already trying to keep things together. My childhood wasn’t easy — domestic violence was a part of my world, something I had to navigate quietly. At school, I never really knew what to say when kids asked where I lived or where I came from. I just kept most things to myself and got on with it. It felt easier to blend in than explain anything. But those early responsibilities shaped me more than I realised. They taught me to read people, stay steady, and show up when it mattered. That’s what led me into law enforcement. I work mainly with women experiencing domestic violence, and sometimes I walk into a house and see a little girl who looks exactly like I did — blonde hair, green eyes, pigtails. It’s a strange kind of recognition, like meeting a younger version of yourself. Eventually, I knew I wanted to create something of my own. Something that wasn’t just a job, but a way of giving back. So I built a brand from scratch — for women, kids, teens, — anyone who needs support when life gets overwhelming. There’s a fire in me now. I always say, “Watch me start a fire in the rain.” Because no matter where you begin, you can rise from it. And you can make something you’re proud of.”

Why pHLORA Exists
From Surviving to Uplifting
Supporting women through domestic violence taught me that healing begins with feeling safe and seen.
For years, I gave everything to everyone and forgot myself — until I realised choosing yourself is part of recovery.
pHLORA was created to offer that gentleness: thoughtful care, meaningful scent, and products that respect us.
Every bottle contributes to families recovering from violence, because giving back starts with women.
